Forwarding an email from the Swim Streamline Coach, Laura Davis, regarding some Sprint Sizzler meet logistics (in blue below)
Folks,
It takes a lot of work prior to the meet to make Sizzler, The Sprint Sizzler. In the hustle of Sunday & Monday, we missed a team entry (found it in spam today) and therefore we had to redo everything today. My sincere apologies for more paperwork and communication with your team.
Attached is all new meet paperwork as of today. Destroy all other meet docs.
Note the timing assignments- areas highlighted yellow are changes. The boys pool is the LOBBY end. The girls pool is the DIVING BOARD end. (this is in our meet announcement)

A reminder from our Meet Director, Mike Swaim:
An athlete is allowed to enter only one single gender and 1 mixed gender relay per day. So there is no recycling the same 10 year old over and over again for multiple mixed and or gender relay events. Please let's everyone show good sporting conduct and adhere to this limitation.
PAYMENT – Payment is due before the start of the meet. If you have not previously paid, you may leave your check/cash with the Check-In table. Kim Andrews will be in the lobby collecting payments and will have a credit card reader if you need to pay by credit card. Note: You cannot receive coach’s packets without payment being received. A few teams re-submitted entries and your amount has changed since our original confirmation to you Sunday. We sent those teams updated amounts. Please ensure your payment matches this amount of when entries were submitted prior to the start of the meet ($8 per individual event, $13 per relay).
Note: Meet entries are officially closed. Any scratches you make now are not refunded.
Note: Any and all relay changes need to be made at the meet.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Look forward to a great meet!

Good afternoon.
Coaches must check-in. Check-In for coaches will be available beginning between 9:15 - 10:00 AM. Here you will receive your coach packet. Coach packet will include a max of three (3) complimentary Heat Sheets, pre-printed relay cards, and raffle tickets. Coaches must wear their NWAL badge to be allowed on deck. Maximum of 3 coaches will be allowed on deck.
Relay cards will be given to you in your coaches’ packet and MUST BE turned into the computer room by 11:00 AM on Sunday & 4:00 pm on Monday, REGARDLESS of your warm-up time. If your relay cards are not submitted on time, your relays will swim as submitted in your original entries. This is imperative to starting the meet on time. If you miss the deadline to turn in relay cards all changes will need to be made at the ready bench or behind the block by your Relay liaison.
There will be a coaches meeting with the Meet Referee 30 minutes prior to the start of the meet.
OFFICIALS – We need officials! Here is a link for your officials to sign up to help us – https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20F084BAFA722A7FA7-49697235-2024#/
SET UP - Spectator bleacher indoor seating is for observation only. There is NO SETUP in the stands. Please NO flash photography at the start of a race. Team set up is outdoors, in the grass on the east side of the NAT (easiest access to viewing/ready bench from here). Some areas are shaded, some are not. Tents are advised. No generators on the grass. No set up in the circle drive – way.
READY BENCH – Swimmers must go to the Ready Bench. The ready bench will be large & busy, please ensure your swimmers arrive at the Ready Bench when their event is called, are paying attention to the volunteers & following directions on where to sit & walk( ESPECIALLY for Relays).
Ready bench reminders with 1,100 plus swimmers at the meet:
Teams must have a relay liaison available when relays are being lined up to ensure your relays are in attendance and correct. This will help with the relays and save time for everyone.
A Sprint Sizzler ready bench is offered per NWAL rules to assist younger swimmers in navigating a large invitational. Swimmers are expected to arrive at the ready bench when their events are called so heat and lane seating can happen in a timely manner. Swimmers 13 & up who do not arrive at the ready bench when expected may be responsible for getting to their own races. The meet will not be held up or stopped for swimmers not arriving to the blocks when their heat is run. Teams and parents are responsible for assisting their own swimmers in getting to the ready bench and refunds are not offered for missed events.
PAYMENT – Payment is due before the start of the meet. If you have not previously paid, you may leave your check/cash with the Check-In table. KIm Andrews will be in the lobby collecting payments and will have a credit card reader if you need to pay by card.
