Welcome to the FAST Website!  The time for Summer Swim Team Registration is FAST approaching!

Fairfield Area Swim Team (FAST) is a neighborhood summer swim league that is part of the R4 Division of Northwest Aquatic League (NWAL) which currently has over 97 swim teams.  Fairfield’s swim team has an awesome reputation in our league and we have a terrific 8 lane neighborhood pool, right here in Fairfield!!!

Our team philosophy is to “Have Fun with FAST!”  We are family oriented and are able to compete each season due to the commitments of each and every swimmer’s family.  With the exception of the coaching staff, we are a completely volunteer run organization.

This year we are offering our FAST families the opportunity to join FAST through our online registration. 

We offer a 2 week Swim Clinic in April that is 2 days (T/W and Th/Fri) per week designed to jump start your swimmer for the season as well as give new and younger swimmers the chance to see if swim team is right for them.  It is important to note that swim team is not swim lessons.  Coach-to-swimmer ratios are not appropriate to ensure the safety of struggling swimmers in the water.  We recommend that your child be able to swim basic swim techniques and be able to swim under water to join.  

Our practices begin this year on April 23rd and will be held after school until June 4th when they will move to the mornings for the remainder of the summer.  Our intra-squad time trial (Blue & White Meet) is May 4th and dual meets begin May 11th.  We have swim meets most Saturdays and finish up with our Divisional Meet (think of this as a swim tournament) and Invitationals.  You can see a detailed list of all of our events on the Home page or under the Calendar tab.
